[Templates](https://www.wesignatures.net/wesignature-help/templates?hsLang=en-us) # Can I Add or Remove Signature Fields from a Template Before Sending It Out? **Yes!** WeSignature gives you full flexibility to modify signature fields before sending a document, even when using a template. #### **How to Edit Signature Fields on a Template Before Sending:** 1. **Regardless of how you apply a template, you will always land on the document preparation screen.** This is where you can review and edit signature fields before sending the document. 2. **To remove a signature field,** click on the red **"X"** in the top-right corner of the field you want to delete. 3. **To add additional fields,** simply drag and drop the desired field (e.g., signature, name, date) onto the document where needed. 4.
