Can I Resume Editing a Document That Is in Draft Status?

Yes, you can resume editing a document that is in "Draft" status:

  • Go to the Documents tab in the navigation bar.
  • Filter for documents that are in "Draft" status.
  • Locate the document you want to continue editing.
  • Click the three dots ("...") under the Actions column.
  • Select "Edit."

After clicking "Edit," you will be taken back to the document preparation screen where you can:

  • Drag out signature fields onto the document.
  • Add or adjust signers.
  • Include a custom message.
  • Request payment (if needed).
  • Once you’ve made the necessary changes, you can send the document to your client for signature.

Pro Tip: Draft status documents are not sent until you click "Send." This gives you the flexibility to make adjustments and edits before finalizing/sending the request.
