The **WeSignature–HawkSoft integration** allows you to send documents for electronic signature from HawkSoft, then automatically return the completed document to the client’s record in HawkSoft once signing is finished. Follow the steps below to successfully send, sign, and return a document. --- #### Step-by-step workflow ### 1. Open both systems For best results, open: - HawkSoft - WeSignature Side-by-side on your screen. This allows you to drag and drop documents directly from HawkSoft into WeSignature. --- ### 2. Locate the client and document in HawkSoft 1. Open HawkSoft. 2. Navigate to the **client profile** for the client who needs to sign. 3. Go to the **Attachments** section where documents are stored. --- ### 3. Drag the document(s) into WeSignature 1. Click and drag the document from HawkSoft. 2. Drop it into the WeSignature dashboard. 3. Do this for all documents you want included in that specific envelope. 4. Once all needed documents are added to WeSignature, click **Prepare Document**. --- ### 4. Enable HawkSoft linking On the signer information screen in WeSignature: 1. Check the box labeled **Link to HawkSoft** (This tells WeSignature to push the completed document back to HawkSoft.) 2. From HawkSoft, click: - Client Name - Client Email - Client ID (Each click copies that value to your clipboard.) 3. Paste each value into the corresponding fields in WeSignature. \***Important:** You must copy and paste the **Client ID** correctly for the document to be returned to HawkSoft. --- ### 5. Prepare and send the document 1. Click **Continue**. 2. Drag signature and required fields onto the document as you normally would with WeSignature. 3. Click **Send**. 4. The client receives the document and signs electronically. --- ### 6. Refresh HawkSoft to retrieve the signed document After the client completes the signing: 1. Return to HawkSoft. 2. Go to the same client profile. 3. Open the **Attachments** section. 4. Click **Refresh** (top right). The completed, signed document will now appear in HawkSoft.
