The Document Isn't Showing as Completed, but My Client Says They Signed—What’s Wrong?
If a document isn’t marked as completed, check the following:
Weak Internet Connection:
- If the signer had poor Wi-Fi or cellular service, the document may not have registered as signed.
They Didn’t Click "I Agree":
- The final step of signing is clicking “I Agree” to confirm they understand what they signed.
- If they closed the window before clicking “I Agree”, the signature process is not complete.
Important Note: If the document is showing as "Out for Signature" on the WeSignature side of the system, and the client says they have signed, you do not need to rebuild and resend the entire e-signature request again. Simply have them click the link again (that was emailed or texted to them) and sign the document once more, making sure they complete the signing process in its entirety!
